Maidenhill School Raises Funds For RAPID UK

On the afternoon of Tuesday 12th January RAPID UK CEO, Clive Hodges, gave a short address to Maidenhill School Year 10 assembly. As we all know, at 10.00 pm UK time that evening Haiti was struck by a very powerful and devastating earthquake to which RAPID UK deployed a search and rescue team.
Since then pupils and staff at Maidenhill have been raising money for RAPID UK in a variety of ways. On a return visit to the school on 29th January, Clive Hodges witnessed members of staff and one of the governors being coaxed into agreeing to have heads and beards shaved and legs waxed as part of the fund-raising effort. He also met one of the pupils who had organised a cake stall in the school.
RAPID UK is very grateful to Maidenhill School students and staff for their fund rasing efforts and looks forward to working with them in the future in a variety of ways
