RAPID UK is staffed entirely by volunteers who donate their time and skills in a wide variety of ways. There are two categories of volunteers within RAPID UK, Operational Members and Support Members. Details are below:

Operational Members are recruited from a wide range of backgrounds and occupations. Following a rigorous selection process, recruits undertake approximately 18 months of training covering the full range of skills required to become a Search & Rescue Operative. Although RAPID UK is not currently accepting applications for Operational Members if you would like to register your interest with us and receive notification of when we begin recruiting in the future please contact us by means of the form on the contacts page.
